Palin, What is Your Real Problem in Life?

Just when I thought I was out, she managed to pull me back in! Yeah! Okay! So I stole that line from Godfather III, but, hell that's the way I'm feeling! I vowed NOT to devote one keystroke to Sarah Palin unless and until she stopped pimping herself and actually threw her ass into the 2012 POTUS race. But, this woman has gotten on my last good nerve and I just have to say something!

I am sick and tired of this woman allowing the name "Michelle Obama" to even come out of her mouth! Look! All the woman is trying to do is to get America healthy again by waging war against obesity

A Knock at Midnight

On February 4, 1968, these resounding words were heard at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia:

If any of you are around when I have to meet my day, I don’t want a long funeral. And if you get somebody to deliver the eulogy, tell them not to talk too long... Tell them not to mention that I have a Nobel Peace Prize—that isn’t important. Tell them not to mention that I have three or four hundred other awards—that’s not important. Tell them not to mention where I went to school.

...Yes, if you want to say that I was a drum major, say that I was a drum major for justice. Say that I was a drum major for peace. I was a drum major for righteousness. And all of the other shallow things will not matter.  I won't have any money to leave behind. I won't have the fine and luxurious things of life to leave behind. But I just want to leave a committed life behind.  And that's all I want to say.

Today, we honor the man who so eloquently spoke those words. We honor his memory, his trials, his triumphs, and his accomplishments. The Dreamer who dared to speak out against injustice. Who dared to trod into hostile and violent territories for equality. Who dared to come to the aid of the helpless. Who dared to preach hope for the hopeless.

Tomorrow is the designated day on which we will honor The Dreamer - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Had Dr. King not succumbed to an assassin's bullet, he would have actually turned 82, yesterday - January 15th. One can only imagine what this Country, this society, and our lives would be like today, if it had not been for the vision and ultimate sacrifice of Dr. King. A man who was reviled in life and seemingly adored in death. Nevertheless, it is befitting that we honor Dr. King in a day of service.
