WOW! I can't believe that its been 3 months since I've posted something. Believe me, it ain't been because I ain't had nothing to say! Its just been a year where life has gotten into blogging. But, rest assured, every now and then I still sojourn around the AfroSphere to check y'all out. And y'all have sho 'nuff been buzzing!
But yesterday, like so many of you, I didn't have to go to my side of the plantation and I found myself thinking that its was time for me to let y'all know that all is well and do a little personal sharing...
Although, I'm still not quite ready to let the whole world know the name of the woman behind Sojourner's Place (Much Obliged to those of you who have let me be me), I have decided to a let y'all in on a little something that I just can't keep to myself any longer...and its all about "True Blood"!
Yep! True Blood! You know that HBO hit about vampires, werewolves, and other strange beings. I've been a fan of this show since the very first episode and can hardly wait till the series resumes in January. But, that ain't "it".
So what is it, SjP? you ask. Well, if you caught the season finale and listened very carefully during the scene where the Preacher and Tara's Mamma were getting busy on the coach, the song that was playing "Somebody's Knocking" was old SjP's Brother's contemporary Gospel band - Rapture 7. Yep! I kid you not. Baby Brutha is on his way to the big time after over 30 years of perfecting his craft! And I'm so proud!
So, I'd be much obliged if y'all would give ole SjP's Baby Brutha's group a listen...
Much Obliged, Very Much Obliged... SjP
