Did you know that in the past seven days, there has been 224 earthquakes? There are wars and rumors of war. There is famine and despair. It is hard not to believe that we will see End of Time during this generation. Perhaps there is something to this 2012 thing that seems to foretell that our days are certainly numbered.

Old School Friday: Why Are They Famous?

Oh Yeah! It's FRIDAY!!! And that means it's time for some old school jamming and par-taying in the blogosphere! This week's theme is "Why are They Famous?". We all know that every now and then a group pops out of nowhere and we find ourselves asking why? For me, there have been several that leave me wanting and wondering how in this world could they possibly be experiencing the fame and fortune that comes with the talent they seem to lack. Wannabes and copy-cats I call them.

Well, the joint I featuring on this Old School Friday, may very well have many folks wondering and asking "why? why? why?" I mean they are brazen, uncouth, and sometimes downright vulgar. How they got to be famous, is certainly a question many have asked an will no doubt continue. Take a listen, and let me know what you think.

Why are P-Funk Famous? They are famous because they are the best at what they do. Look up Funk in the dictionary, and George's picture is right there!
