Alma Dale completely distorted the issue. The issue between Fox and the White House is that the it LIES! It is one thing, Alma Dale, to be biased - to lean to the right or to the left; but it is an entirely different issue to lie! And that is exactly what Fox News, via the mouths of Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and others do. They LIE and fabricate fantastic stories and innuendos to provide like-minded people a reason to wallow in their ignorance and hatred of this Administration. That's the issue, Alma Dale - not the little known secret that everybody knows that both Fox and MSNBC leans one way or the other.
But, perhaps Alma Dale's reasons for "finally commentating" on all this "silliness" as she calls it are rooted in some much deeper issues. After all, her hubby, Republican consultant Dan Senor was Dubya's Deputy Press Secretary and now regularly appears on Fox News. Then, we just have to wonder just how Alma really feels about any news affiliate with the initials NBC. Afterall Alma, could only get a weekend job there and an occasional sub position when Brian Williams was off. And then, after 11 years at NBC, Alma Dale lost the job of host of the Today Show to a game show host.
Then if all this were not bad enough, Alma Dale was not one of the many women newscasters included on the dais during the recent Women's Conference. There was Katie Couric, Paula Zhan, Lisa Ling, Linda Ellerbee, Arianna Huffington, Amy Holmes, and Robin Roberts. Hell! Even Kate Gosselin was invited to speak!
Well, I guess Alma Dale might have had any number of reasons to engage in what she characterized as "silly" during a conference themed to "Empower Women to be Architects of Change". But, regardless Alma Dale was way off base and All Bias and All Bull and I WANT ROLAND BACK!
